Every year the Newport Beach Aquatic Center hosts the Hal Rosoff Memorial Canoe-Kayak-Outrigger race. Dr. Humphries and a friend, Scott Plamondon, entered the short course OC-2 (two man outrigger canoe) race this past Saturday. This being their first race, both were quite pleased with their third place finish. Both are looking forward to the upcoming OC-6 season where they plan to race in the novice division for IMUA Outrigger Canoe Club.
